Terms
Last updated 6 October 2026
These terms cover this website, your Gusset account, and buying a Pro subscription. The licence agreement covers the program itself. The site is run by Fabr Engineering Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08826947), whose registered office is at Spelders Hill House, Brook, Ashford, Kent, England, TN25 5PB (“we”, “us”).
1. Your account
You sign in with your Google account or with a link sent to your e-mail address; there is no password. Each account is for one person. Keep your e-mail account secure, because whoever can read its mail can sign in. You must be 16 or over, and if you are under 18 you need a parent's or guardian's permission to buy Pro. Tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
2. Hobby and Pro
A new account has the free Hobby licence. Pro costs £250 a year for each person, plus VAT or sales tax where it applies. What each licence allows is set out in the licence agreement.
3. Buying Pro
Our order process is run by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders: it takes your payment, charges any tax due, sends your invoice and handles billing questions and returns. When you buy, your contract of sale is with Paddle and Paddle's terms apply to it.
The subscription renews each year, on the anniversary of your purchase, at the price then current, until you cancel. Paddle will e-mail you before it renews. We will tell you at least 30 days before a renewal if the price is going to change.
4. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro runs to the end of the year you have paid for, and your account then becomes Hobby.
If you ask within 14 days of first buying Pro we will refund you in full, whatever the reason: write to our support address. Your account goes back to Hobby when the refund is made. After 14 days, and for renewals, payments are not refundable except where the law or the licence agreement gives you a right to one.
If you are a consumer you have a legal right to cancel a purchase made online within 14 days. The refund above gives you at least that.
5. Using this site
Do not try to break into the site or the licence service, overload them, or use them to do anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that is used to do so, or that is shared between people.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the site and the licence service running but do not promise that they always will be. Gusset runs for up to 14 days without reaching them, so a short interruption will not stop your work.
7. What belongs to whom
Gusset, this site and their content belong to us or to those who license them to us. Your models, studies and results belong to you; we never receive them.
8. Our liability
The limits in section 10 of the licence agreement apply to these terms as well. Nothing limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or a consumer's legal rights.
9. Changes, and the law that applies
We may change these terms for good reason and will tell you by e-mail at least 30 days before a change that matters takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring a claim there.
